BioI'm currently a Visiting Research Intern (as it says on my visa) at Florida International University... just got engaged to my honey, although marriage plans are on hold (not backing out though; just waiting for her all-important graduation and graduate-position-to-help-with-the-monetary-situation type of deal... present situation/habitation akin to a zoo (not pertaining, of course, to any sort of unhygienic environmental concerns, but literally, what with a dog [a beagle-dachshund mix, so cute], a cat [schizophrenic as all get out, as all cats are, but rightfully deserves the name of Sibyl], 2 rats [the comedic tandem of Ollie and Stan], a couple handfuls of fish, and four toads) - and, of course, 2 zookeepers... and, as always, missing good old Edmonton (Alberta, eh?), home sweet home...
